Praise and Prayer

The Ouelette Family has spoken for the 12th child from the 2011 Summer Texas Vacation Host Program, Ana Lucia. They are pursuing her adoption.
Our October vision trip resulted in expanded opportunities and the strengthening of new alliances.
Our first missionary has settled in and is seeing God move daily to impact the lives of young people in Colombia
We currently have 4 mission trips planned for 2012 with more possibly to come!
Orphan Hope Marathon is coming together nicely with 85 runners signed up and more joining each day.

Pray for the 9 families and 12 children who are currently in the process of adoption.
Need an additional $90,000.00 to open the safe house in 2012.
Need 180 families to commit to $30.00 a month to sponsor Christian education for Santa Maria girls orphanage in Madrid, Colombia.
Need $5800.00 to establish a beauty school for the safe house to give the girls a trade and a chance at life when they leave.
Need donations of water bottles, energy bars, and volunteers for the Orphan Hope Marathon coming up February 11, 2012
Need prayer and financial support for our three local Colombian partner pastors and their churches that are ministering to the orphans and the families of social orphans.
Need scholarships for those who wish to serve on mission trips but don’t have some or all of the finances to do so.
Also, pray for the Trail Run Dinner, for runners, families and friends, volunteers, and anyone interested in helping OHI with opening a Safe House in 2012, February 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. (registration and information at http://www.firstgiving.com/OrphanHope/orphan-hope-trail-run-dinner)
